I went to a store yesterday and saw this knife. At first glance it looked awesome but when i picked it up, i realized that looks can be deceiving. Once open, the blade was flimsy, the lock was real crappy and the handle felt like cheap "high impact" plastic. Was this an imitation or are they all crappy like the one i saw/held?

And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold the great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads...And His tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth; and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

I wonder if you confused the BM 3500 with the 350. The 3500 is an auto with an aluminum handle. The 350 is zytel and was designed to be in the same price class as a Delica. I personally like the 350. It is a light pocket knife that can handle the tasks expected of a knife that size. Some 350s do have liners that are hard to operate (especially the older ones) but beyond that I think it is a great knife.

Dude, its the lowest quality benchmade! Zytel handle, 410 liner and small on top of that! There are much better for $75. Oh well, id get something else.

IUBI - That was not an imitation, in my opinion you described the 350 perfectly. I agree with others that there are better knives for the money available, although the light weight is nice. If you like the style the 3500 is a great way to go, at least where they are legal that is.
