Mel Parry Handle Screws

Good morning, I was replacing some scales for a friend with a Scorpion Knives Mel Parry Signature Knife (with some custom Ipe) and after removing the original green linen micarta handles, I noticed that the Chicago/binding screws were a bit rusted out. I am having a very difficult time finding appropriate replacements of any kind due to the sizing. The female/post has a post width of 6mm, with a head size of 10mm. I don't really care about the thread size, but just can't find anything that fits snugly into the manufacturers drilled holes. 1/4' posts are just too wide (.23/6mm vs .25"), and any M5 Chicago screws are too thin at the post. Anyone know the original binding screw specifications?

Thank you,

O

M6 Binding Screws in the search engine should do the trick
Thank you Joe, looks like most of the M6 binding screws that I have found have a post diameter of 8mm vs 6mm. Thank you for the suggestion, and I'll keep barking up that tree.

M6 male post fits an 8mm female post - 8mm tang hole needed. Try an M5 binding screw.

What about 6mm round threaded stand offs? Something some industrial electronics and engineering hardware supply companies sell. Many seem to be only M3

where abouts in the world are you O o_berger ?
