Hi everyone, "Melk" from France here.
I'm an engineer by trade, but a few times a year, I get this overwhelming urge to lock myself in my windows left garage and sand steel and wood for hours. It's pure passion for me, I don't sell anything for now—I just make knives for the fun of this craft.
I guess I would classify myself as someone obsessed with fit, finish, and details... even the invisible ones.
I wanted to share some of my recent achievements with you all :
Steel: Uddeholm 26C3 ("Spicy White").
Heat Treat: Differentially heat treated
Handle: Wood-on-wood "Keyhole" construction (Walnut & Bog Oak)
Hardware: Hidden stainless steel pins
Construction: Tapered tang
Finish: Hand-rubbed satin
