got home showed my wife and her response was a respectful, well thats simple, it kinda looks like lemon chiffon:D

Sounds like you both made out like bandits. Remember, if your wife said it looks like lemon chiffon, that's really quite a compliment. She could have said it looks like banana pudding without the vanilla wafers, which would not be good. :D

You can probably sneak a couple more of those lemon chiffons into the house. Lemon chiffon peanuts, lemon chiffon trappers and stockmans.

Congradulations Ivan on your firsr Case. Now that you're "infected" it will not be your last. The soddie is a great knife.

Now a hint from a long time hitched man; women go by color. If you were to get a Eye-Brand yellow soddie, and a Boker yellow soddie, your better half will never know the difference. They're all gonna look the same to the untrained eye. Yellow soddies get lonely by themselves.:D

Why jackknife, I'm shocked, dismayed and somewhat taken aback by your duplicitous suggestion! :D

I call it self defence. Ever notice how many shoes the ol lady has?:D

And they all look alike!

Mine pretty much told me that I can get away with stuff like that, when I showed her a new Barehead Slimline Trapper in yellow I'd just gotten, and she said, "Don't you have one just like that already?" Only other yellow knife that size I had was a Wharncliffe Copperlock. I mean, seriously!! Those are very different. How could a person possibly confuse the two! :p

I buy all my Case yellowhandles from my local Bass Pro. I have several sodbuster jr.s that I got there. Awesome knife for $19. Been that price for several years. I catch the medium stockman cv yellowhandle on sale there about 1 or 2 times per year for $29.95.

Sounds a great idea.

Start with Abalone and MOPs instead of yeller!
