Melon testers and Doctors Knives

Do any of these come in longer blades like 4 inches or close to that?

There are some vintage melon testers that are 5 inches closed. I don't know the length of the blade off hand. Probably around 4 inches. The closed length is usually used for traditional knives. I don't think I've ever seen a physicians knife big enough to have a 4" blade. I doubt it. But it could exist.

Have a look at AG Russell's melon-tester. It's better built than they often are.
But yeah, MTs are at least 4", in my experience, and the doctors' knives I've seen are 3" (talking blade length).

Most vintage melon testers aka sausage knives blades I see are about 4". Most doctor's blades are about 3" or less.
