Hey gang,
I just got a text from Stuart Davenport samuraistuart samuraistuart that said “I’m trying to get on BF and I get a message that says I am banned because my account has been hacked! I can’t even post anything to the tech support forum to resolve this.”

Any chance someone can give him a hand with this? His email is samuraistuartAThotmail.com

Thanks in advance!

Bogus sales post from a server in Romania, posted using Stuart's credentials. The account was shut down to prevent further such posts.
He needs to contact Spark and convince him that Stuart, and only Stuart, has access to his account.

I just reset mine. This is getting crazy with these hacked accounts. I got nailed for $130. Fortunately after a significant squabble with venmo they actually refunded me.
I actually found a helpful tool is to ask for info from the seller, then try to get an hour to pay them. If their payment info somehow corresponds or has similarity to their personal info its usually legit. Usually the hackers are pressing you to pay asap. Most sellers will under stand an hour or two or at least they should. Just food for thought.

I'm this close to forcing all y'all to update your passwords because clearly too many of you use the same ones on multiple sites

(Scammers taking notes right now) “Allow up to an hour or more for buyer to pay.”

Maybe the scammers in Romania want fast transactions but scammers stateside that linger around the forums don’t care.
