Hello old friends,
I was a follower of the Cantina many years ago under the tag of QM3SS. But since my memory is like a sieve and I have had several computers since then, I cannot for the life of me remember how I signed on as that back then. So a new one is born. I actually met Yangdu and Uncle Bill in those my early years of HI when they came to South Florida to visit others down here. We all met up in the back room of an American Legion Post for snacks, chats, and a few stories. In the interim I have been low on the funds and have been out of work for almost a year now. However I still have the kukhri's I ordered or picked up in DODT's back then. In the interim I have managed to con a woman into marrying me, became a step-grandfather, and an uncle. Also as my wife is looking to step away from teaching high school and put her Master's of Environmental Ed to good use at a zoo or other state park orthe like, I figured it might be a good idea to start reconnecting with those whose stories and lessons I used to enjoy, in the hopes of having friends to meet wherever we may end up moving to.

Have a great night

Hello Sean!,

You were probably before my time here, but we welcome all our friends, new and old, and are glad we have them.
Dust off your barstool, grab a heineken and make yourself at home. Welcome Back!

Welcome back Sean! I was here just about every day from January 2004 until early 2007, so may have run into you then; the user name is vaguely familiar. I haven't bought much in the last few years, but luckily stocked up enough in those 3 years to last me the next few decades... :)

I don't post much anymore, but it's good to see an old timer checking in.

Best,

Norm

For some reason, I remember that username...I think it was back in my foolish first days in the Cantina, though I'm not positive...I block out bad memories of me misbehaving except to learn from them.... Well anyway, welcome back dude, I hope your 'stay' is a fruitful, wonderful experience. Peace.
David

welcome back - the out of work thing sounds like a bummer - hope all is well
