I reccently upgraded to a knifemaker membership and its not showing up in my user CP, is there somthing I need to do or do I just wait?

At this time, you have to wait. It depends on when you upgraded and how you paid.
Click on your name for the drop-down menu. When it shows private messaging is enabled, then you can go to your User CP and down the left side to Group Memberships to select your Knifemaker status.
