membership renewal question

I got an email saying I need to renew my membership. The link takes me to a screen that shows my Basic membership expiring on 12/19/2011, and my Gold membership expiring on 6/25/2012.

What do I do here? Let the Basic expire, and wait 'til June to pay up for Gold again?

It really doesn't make sense to carry overlapping memberships. Let the Basic lapse and all your Gold privileges will still be there.

Thanks; I had upgraded to Gold, and I didn't realize I still had a Basic as well. Bladeforums can be an odd place sometimes.
