Just so we don't start off on the wrong foot....We are a family of knifemakers & would like to list some of our knives on the Knifemakers "For Sale" forum. We also own a small retail cutlery storefront where we sell our own handmades, as well as, many other other brands. We do not currently sell any brand other than our own online. Will our "Knifemaker" membership suffice to sell our handmade knives on BF? I understand that we would need to upgrade to a "Dealer" membership to sell other products but we have no current plans, as such. Thanks!
 
Your current membership level does allow you to sell your own handmade knives yes. Selling other knives "production pieces" would require a Dealer level membership.
 
The thing is.....

As you have a store that is listed as your homepage, that would make you a dealer. Even though you are only showing listings for your own handmade knives you are gaining advertisement for your establishment which sells other than your own works. The knifemaker membership is really only intended for "individual" knifemakers to sell only their own wares. Families of individuals selling their wares could easily be considered manufacturers, and if they are selling items other than those they make themselves, that would then make them dealers.
