Membership status does not display

Renewed my Gold Membership on 7/30; but, am currently listed as a registered user?

Please help, I have lost access to my photo files and CP items.

You have to change your user group manually, its under your user Control Panel (CP) Click on Group Memberships You will find a menu that you can select your group from.
 
I just resubscribed last night, and I had to do the same thing. It's ironic, because it seems like every few days somebody has this question/problem, and each time I think "jeez, look at the FAQ ya moron". Then last night, because I couldn't remember exactly what to do, I looked in the FAQ, but it's not there.:foot:

Surely these instructions need to be added to the FAQ or stickied at the top.

You need to change your Group Membership listing. Click on the User CP link at the top left of this page, then click on the Group Membership link at the bottom left. Select your appropriate group membership that you'd like displayed. You can also Click Here to do the same thing.

Still, it does crop up enough that perhaps it could be in a more immediate/obvious place.
 
The best way we have found to make sure people will not find information is to make a stickie or announcement at the top of a page. (There is none so blind as he who will not take the time to read.)
