Membership Upgrade Issue

I purchased a 1 year gold membership for my account on April 5th and as of now my account still says I am only a registered user. I checked my card history and the payment went through, so does it normally take a while before the new membership level kicks in or is this an error?

Private Messaging is enabled so it looks like you are probably good to go. You have to manually change which Membership level you identify as.

If it doesn't, go to Settings, then on the left click on Permission Groups. You should see Registered User and Gold Member as the options.
