On the block is a new in the box Christy knife, with a spare blade that was under the foam. My old man was fond of these knives, and bought a great deal of them to hand out to the people in his section back in the 50's. The Christy knife is a good, if a little weird, example of maybe the first one hand knife aside from the typical switch blade, and they were sold in army PX's and Navy Exchanges during WW2. Not a tool to parachute into the jungle, but darn handy day to day for cutting jobs. Blade can be locked open in three different lengths, and it serves as a good pocket box cutter. I'll run this for a few days until it looks like the entries are slowing down. Lets say Wednesday.
