Hopefully everyone is having a fine weekend, going into Memorial Day. Today we remember those we went forward, but never made it back. Let's all take a second and pay our respects to those who were so bold to make such a sacrifice.

Today, I beat the hell out of myself more than I usually do for my workouts, in their honor. Lots of high intensity interval training, lots of cardio, plenty of calisthenics in between.

I wear my uniform with great pride, and thank those who went ahead of me, and those who plan on following. Doesn't matter if you're out on the lake with family and friends, or plan on having a quiet time in the backyard; today, we do it in honor of all service members who can't join us.

Don't worry, there's Emerson content here. Wearing my patch on a Chief's vest, and carrying my Combat Karambit today.

Thank you for your service doc, and Semper Fi. All the Corpsman I ever served with we're good guys, and I considered them my brothers.

Thank you for the service to our country. Went through Corps school in 06, lived in barracks 129, good times. Thanks again.
