Here is a 16.5 inch Chirwa AK that came in last week. It is made by Bura and so marked and is one of the best I have seen for awhile. This is a 10 out of 10 rig. Karda and chakma are very substantial, about 3/16 inch thick. Khukuri is 1/2 inch thick and weighs 2 & 1/4 pounds. It is made to stay for awhile even if the handle pins are aluminum. I guess if Bura thinks aluminum is okay I will have to bow to his expertise even though I prefer steel myself.
