I figured most everyone looks at this forum as they scan through to their favorites so I posted here. Feel free to move it if needed.

I just wanted to say Happy Memorial Day to all.
To the Veterans and current members of our Armed Forces I wanted to say thank you for your service to your country. All of you are giving of yourselves to make this Nation safer for the rest of us.
As a non-military person, I am greatful to each and every one of you.
Take pride in your service for it is admirable.
Be safe.
Mike

We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition:
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.

-Henry V, William Shakespeare

I'm with you here. Here's to those who have had, do have, and will have, the guts and integrity to serve in America's armed forces.

Though it may not have always been obvious, even to the highest levels of government, the veterans and current military personnel are greatly appreciated by many, especially this American.

Perhaps recent changes can be the impetus for a renewed respect and support for our military, past and present. Count me in.

I agree.

Have you noticed that time flies like the wind, but fruit flies like bananas ?

I'm one of those Vets. Thank you.

I also want to say an even bigger Thank You to our government -- the VA Administration -- for now taking care of me! Would have lost my home and everything had not my pension been allowed. And now, Social Security is coming thru for me as well. I can't tell you what a feeling of relief it is, when you can't work anymore for physical/emotional reasons, and our country comes through for you.

Dave
