Memorial Day

gajinoz, I just turned on the computer to say the same thing.....
I would like to join in with gajinoz to wish everyone a happy and safe memorial day and to express my gratitude for all out there who have or are serving our country. Thank you all.

May we never forget the sacrifices made by those gallant men and women. Words can't adequately express my thanks. tf

It just turned Monday here on the west coast and I would like to thank all the Vets out there for all that they have done for us with a special thanks for all the Viet Nam Era Vets that helped keep my butt safe.

Just turned Memorial Day here . A salute to all our members of the US Armed Services. I am going to hang up my flag, which was draped over my Grandfathers coffin upon his burial in 1970. He served during WW1. I suggest that any of you who have not been there , visit Arlington next time you are near D.C. sit at the Tomb of the Unknowns for a while and walk the rows of headstones. These are Americans.

Freedom comes with a high price, least we never forget our veterans. God bless all that gave the ultimate price with their lives and those that served. The thanks can not be said enough.

G-d Bless American vets, and American soldiers serving in the war against terror now.

The brave soldiers serving this great country, fighting terrorism are heroes.God bless each and every one.Let us remember all that have died fighting for this country.

Be sure to tell those WWII vets that you care. They are getting long in the tooth.
Saw the special on IWO JIMA last night on the tube. They are all oldtimers. Most in their 80's.
I shed a tear for them. They were the tough guys.

Best wishes to my American friends and I hope you have a safe and pleasant memorial day and I hope you stop for a minute or two to remember what it means.

Tried to email you a copy of a tribute some of we Korean veterans received but your address isn't correct . Do I have to flip it since you're from the land of "Down Under "?
Just kidding . Thanks for the reminder to the general; public. I went through about 2 dozen Memorial Day sale ads in the Daytona Beach paper & only one mentioned the reason for it & it was a small space filler.

In times of peace, soldiers & dogs keep off the grass.

To absent friends !
