Despite our differences on the issue, we have people in harm's way in a bunch of places around the world.
Today is a day where I'll steer around politics and fanfare.
If you've served, or have family that has, as my father did, my heartfelt thanks goes out to you.
If you've served, and have made it home in one piece, or in pieces...my heartfelt thanks goes out to you.
But if you're still over, and out there, my heartfelt thanks goes especially to you.
Thanks for your Service, Loyalty, Courage, and Honor for being someplace you really shouldn't.
And my heartfelt thanks goes out to you with my prayers for a safe return home.
