So I recently bought a K55, and I love it. Very sharp, feels good in hand, and its the most attractive knife I own, in my opinion. Yes, I love it. Except for one thing. When I open theblade, it feels rough. Like metal on metal perhaps? It could be dirt or something, I dont know. So help me out?
Does it need oiling?

Hi, like they said, Water, WD40 then 3n1 oil, and you'll be good to go.
Kris,.

Agreed on the flushing out. I also had to take a flat file to a few sharp burrs on some parts of the stamped handle. But overall, for 10mins work and $30 they are great lockbacks.

I would do that, but im afraid of not being able to get to some water that gets really into the handle, and it rusting (its a very thin knife)

Use very hot water, hot as you can stand, and hit it with a blowdryer afterwards to help evaporate/blow out some of that excess water. Run a q-tip or cotton ball through the handle. Then blast it with WD-40. This works on my Douk-Douk and I don't seem to have any rust issues in the handle.
