Mercator cat55 knife in stainless

I have stainless version and its straight razor sharp,but havent used it much as i have too many knives.Will try to edc this one,how does it compare to their carbon version?Is edge holding about the same?Does anyone edc this knife.Its much easier to edc than Opinel because of flat profile and lockup is tight too.Sharpened it on coarse dmt,basically splits hairs and shaves but really toothy edge.
