Has anyone here had any experience with these knives, I like the Lachesis and already own a Sniper and consider it to be one of the best fixed blade knives I have ever used. I am in the market for a large folder to replace my Emerson CQC 8 and thought well maybe I should give the mercworx folders a try, but wanted an opinion from you guys first.

Thanks, that was an excellent review, but honestly I give all my knives hell so how do you think the Lachesis would hold up to a beating. I probably never buy a custom knife because I have no use for it, that's why I buy tactical knives and even though the Lachesis had a small gap in the scales for me I don't think I would notice and I sure wouldn't care. So from a tactical application do you think the Lachesis is worth the money or should I put my money into a strider or something like that?

I can't honestly say, my Lachesis is a collector so I haven't put it to the test.

As I mentioned in the review, the flex in the liners may be a trade off due to the flexibility of titanium. i.e. a little bit of flex in exchange for light wieght, corrosion resistance, and durablity.

The knife is constructed of high end materials and fit and finish are overall pretty good (but have seen better at the price point) So I would guess it should hold up OK

i would imagine they would hold up fine.

i havent owned a MW folder but have handled a few, cool grind lines, the ones i saw had good F&F, i think they are a bit overpriced for what ya get though and i like a lot of other knives at the same price point better.

but they are good knives, MW CS was supposedly bad but i have heard its better now FWIW.
