I received this MercWorx Lachesis folder last night and thought I'd give my impressions. All of this is of course my humble opinion.
BG-42 blade steel, sort of stonewashed or bead blasted
3.5" from tip to handle
3.25" sharpened part of blade
.125" thick
weight 5 1/8 ozs
OAl 8.25"
Length closed 4.75"
liner lock
Titanium bolsters
Pocket Clip
Tip down carry only
Green Micarta handles
$400 list (lowest I found on the web $367)
First impression is nice looking folder. I like the micarta handles. Has a Big feel, fits nicely in my large hand. Excellent fit and finish. Opens smoothly, locks up tight. Blade lines up perfectly in handle. No blade wobble. Expensive, in the price league with Sevenza and some Striders. Does not seem as "hard use" as Sebenza or Strider, but time will tell. I'd classify it as a "gentlesmans" hard use. I don't regret getting itand since my State laws don't allow a folder blade over 3.5", I can see it getting a lot of EDC. here's some pics, sorry for the quality.
