Mercworx?

I don't, but give it some time, there are others on this forum that do own Mercworx knives. In the meantime, do a search.

I own the Atropos folder, I love it, the fit and finish is top notch. My next purchase from Merc will be the sniper or the new tonto fixed. The only thing that's not so good is the high dollar price tag, but if you have the $ I recommend getting one.

thank you shark tooth for the response. The sniper is the model i have my eye on. I look forward to a reveiw if you get one.

Ditto on the Equatorian. I just do not like the mercworx name on it. Wish it was sterile not because of some secret mystique, but hungry lawyers trying to make a name for themselves on my behalf. Take care, God Bless You All.

Thanks for your kind words.

Mercvorx knives are cool.
I like the new Proeliator it is a larger version of the Equatorian:D Aboput 9.5" I think.

Cheers,

André

I rarely see them for sale. Whether this means people like them enough to keep them or few people buy them is impossible to tell. There have been reports of quality control and customer service problems with the folders.

I liked the looks of the Seraphim, but when I saw they wanted nearly $300 for it I hadta laugh -- it's not worth half that price.

Besides, a name like "Mercwerx" is nearly as bad as "Dark Ops" . . . it'd appeal chiefly to those who wear black turtlenecks and read books by Ashida Kim and Bradley Steiner.

Their website is vaguely reminiscent of Dark Ops as well. At least their designs are better. I also liked the looks of the Seraphim, but was instantly repelled by the price.

I have a Sniper and an Orion, both in 154CM.
They are actually nice knives, with good grinds.
I bought them second hand, so the prices were more realistic

I wasn't too thrilled about the Dork Ops-style advertizing, and the knife magazines' constant need to drive them through car doors, etc. They are quite robust for sure.

Could someone please tell me what the current value is of the following Mercworx Knives:

Mercworx Sniper, Vorax, Equatorian

Please list new and lightly used values..

Thank you in advance

Bill

I've read around somewhere that if at all possible, you shouldn't order from the manufacturer as they have some shipping and delivery problems; instead, you should order from a dealer who has them in stock. If someone else who knows more could confirm this ......
