Here is the Merriman Knife Pistol

It looks interesting, but I would need to see a few more (and preferably larger) pictures from different angles and showing the knife part better before I could get a decent idea what this item looks like.

I lOVE IT!! What an awesome value for a boxed set.

I gave knife production a shot, and it isn't easy. I couldn't imagine tackling a project like a production pistol knife.

I encourage you to display at the upcoming Blade show if you don't already have plans to. There have been a few pistol knives made, and they have made a big splash. I have no doubt you would fill your order books in a hurry. ( I am sure they are already, or well on their way)

My hat is off to you.

Bailey,

Thanks for the compliments! Did you go to the website and look at the other pictures? when the knife is folded it's about 4 5/8" long and weighs about 14 oz. It's surprisingly accurate and there's no kick (16 grains of powder)
Which show were you talking about? We tried to get a table for one but it had all the tables sold out.

Ken,

The Blade show is the place to be. It is fast approaching, the 4-6 of June. It is held in Atlanta at the Cobb Galleria center. It is THE place to show cutlery. No guns, but there have been other custom makers with pistol knives. One of hte won Best of show last year with one.

Call Marry Lutz at (877)746-9757. If there is a table to be had, she can help.

You have a unique product, and one that is affordable for those that can't buy one from a custom maker for $2000 plus. I realy like the touch of the boxed set. It takes us all back a century. Realy cool.
