Merry Christmas to everyone.

The gifts are gotten and I've cut all the wood I plan to this weekend and it's time to sit back, wait for the kids to come over for dinner and enjoy Christmas.

Linda and I spent the day yesterday working on our garden shed. As we were happily pounding nails, I realized that Jesus was a carpenter and what better way to honor and cherish this man than to play carpenter at this holy time of year. The thought made me smile, and when I shared it with my wife, it gave us hope and renewed vigor for the project. Our already strong enthusiasm was multiplied and we spent until dusk happily pounding, measuring and sawing, with the smoke from the fire pit filling our souls with good cheer.

I hope all of you - my friends - have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS! :D

Happy Holidays! I hope everyone got what they wanted!!! :D....as I get older I enjoy giving presents far more than receiving them... :) Is it just me?
