All,
Since I can remember, Christmas Eve was a special day for my family, both as I was growing up, and as is the case with the young family I have now. Family and friends have been converging on "Grandma's" house for almost 40 years. My mom works hard to put on a wonderful open house, and we have always turned the open house into a walk to Midnight Mass. After church gifts are exchanged, between the adults after the boys are all tucked in. Christmas Eve Is what I look forward to the most and it reminds me to be ever so thankful for what I regularly take for granted.

BF and the communication with the members here on the porch are one of the daily activities that I truly enjoy, and I want to wish all of you a Happy Holidays! Whether you celebrate Christmas, Haunaka, Kwanzaa, et al, or just New Years, I hope you really enjoy yourselves.

Now, since this is a knife forum, I thought I'd lead off the pictures. As my family, kids mostly, will need help with numerous package openings, I'll be carrying this new one that I just picked up from @traumkommode . The sheep mod makes this one heck of a packing tape destroyer. It will get a workout over the next 12 hours.
Take care everyone,
Josh

Happy Christmas Josh and family and, indeed, all on Bladeforums. Same as last year for me, the small RR Stockman. Small enough not to worry the mother-in-law, nifty enough to impress the kids and cheap enough to replace if it gets chucked out with the wrapping paper, though I would definitely cry if that happened cos its a good knife and I have grown attached to it. Of course other patterns are at hand should the need arise. Have fun folks!

Merry Christmas Josh, and everyone else here on the porch! Josh, it sounds like a great tradition! I hope all of your holiday wishes come true! -Lance

The white dogs (for a White Christmas- it is snowing here!) are worn out with the preparations,
but wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
