A little something I've been wanting for a while now arrived this week. Its everything I heard a Morrow knife would be and more. 2.4 ounces of pure pocket joy here in this wonderful split back whittler by Don! It is a 3 and 3/8" closed 'Seahorse Whittler' pattern I guess you'd call it. The main blade is 2.5" and the small blades 1.75" each. Wonderful file work and just beautiful amber bone scales with dovetails into the bolsters!

When I opened it and took it out to examine it I was left completely speechless! His work is just flawless perfection what can I say. Big thanks to Don. I don't know if you visit here or not Don but if so it was great speaking with you and meeting you over the phone.

Don does wonderful work. Your whittler is an excellent example and looks very well put together. That jigged stag bone is beautiful, I had one of his trappers with the same handle material.

Man, that is just GORGEOUS!
Congratulations on a very fine knife.

Thanks. I forgot to mention that the blade steel is CPM154 on this one and all blades have half stops and the model is of course flush in all positions for the blades and mill relieved inside for each blade. Don did file work on the inside and out and jeweled the inside of the liners. Its really hard to even appreciate it from pictures.

Congrats on that beauty. I have one knife (a barlow) by Don (bolster engraved by his wife) which will stand with any knife I own in terms of aesthetics, fit and finish!

Congrats STR. You don't often see customs in that pattern.

Its a beauty.

The trapper I had sported an acorn shield, also engraved by Don's wife. That was the best looking acorn shield I've ever seen.

Merry Christmas to you indeed, Steve!

What a beauty!

That is a very nice knife. It looks to be a very sturdy build and nice F&F. I'm sure anyone would be proud to own it. Congratulations! :)
