Hi all :D

The sun came out long enough to get a couple of shots of my new
smooth ivory bone GEC.

What did Santa bring you?

Thats sweet... I like the scales.
Whats with the stamping on the tang that says Cyclops steel works ?

The GEC's are on my small list of "need to buy".. The make a nice lookin knife and seem to get great reviews. Lots of choices too

Saving money is over rated. Just ask my wife :D

Beautiful knife .41Dude.

This year, Santa brought me a Buck 303 Stockman, a Buck 501, and a Boker replica Air Force survival knife. I had to reprofile the 303 and the Boker, but they're both nice and sharp now. The Boker really reminds me of the older style hunting knives that jackknife speaks about. I see this one getting a lot of use in the field and the kitchen.

I did't get any knives from Santa this year but I did get a nice big Arkansas bench stone. Got some seriously sharp slippies around the house now.:D Nice knife BTW.

Good morning :D

I measure it at just over 1/2" thick. Almost 9/16ths

I have a twin blade Pioneer. The single blade feels MUCH thinner.

Amazing how 1/8th" (or so) thinner can change the feel so much

I got this RR Copperhead from my knife buddy at work. When I first started getting back into traditionals I use to have and carry a button lock Queen Copperhead(I gave it to my best friend that got me into Queen's). I was going to collect them but it to me was slim pickens especially on domestic models! To my hand the only knife that feels as good or better is a sowbelley or a cattleknife. Case and Queen could learn one thing from RR, if this is a consistant quality on these and that is the edges are nearly perfectly even and well edged!!
