Mykel, I used my Opinel as my dinner knife. Thanks a Ton, it gets Much less of an odd look than my Becker BK15!

It has been a good year & I just hope next year is as good as "15" was to me (except for A-FIB <<<< real bummer )
& hopefully I will be around next year to say the same.!*** If not then please drink a Kool/Aid for for ole me.* Thx.

Thanks, but mine's in September John, a month to the day (and four years) after yours.


My roommate and I are going to go up and check out the bald eagles on the skagit river today.(they congregate for the spawned out salmon)
We figure it should be less crowded today and the weather looks to be clearing for the afternoon so what the heck.....Road Trip!
We'll do the big dinner tomorrow.

On a side note, there is a broken pipe in the third floor apt above mine and water was dripping down inside the walls and leaking out on my bathroom floor.
The manager got the leak stopped last night, but it looks like drywall will need to be replaced in all 3 apts. and probably the linoleum on my bathroom floor, not to mention ripping out my shower stall and replacing the green board.
He's waiting for tomorrow to get people out to start the work.Oh boy.

Ya'll have a merry christmas, I'll try to get some pics of the eagles, but I only have a POS P&S so don't hold your breath.
