I am so happy to get this knife back. BillinNM graciously just gave it back to me for free when I asked if I could buy it back from him. He wouldnt even let me pay for shippping!!!
So today I figured Id go out back with a couple of knives and have some fun. I have a ton of chopped down mesquite and it is old, hard, and seasoned.
This Machax, being 1/4 inch thick basically POPS that wood apart. I also thought Id play around with my Habilis Bushtool that I had reprofiled to an almost full height convex grind.
Messing with knives is so much fun.






 
That does look like a buncha fun! nice pics also. That Habilis looks like a pretty cool blade that would be pretty darn useful. Of course I like the 4 better, but its badass also.
 
I have long been intrigued by that Habilis blade. I hadn't thought about it in a while...now it's on my radar again....
 
I'm quite jealous of that 4. I want one... bad... especially since I finally got to handle one at Ethan's. I still love my KaBar, though.
