Hi,

I have sent you an email regarding the EU-17 Magnum and sheath. I sent you an email yesterday but my email has been going crazy and wanted to make sure you got the information. I was wondering if you could please post pictures of the completed sheath and knife on bladeforums as my email will be working sporadically for the next two days or so. I was also wondering what type of sheath this is, I know it is leather but is it a tooled, inlay, fusion or a plain model. Also, when will you be able to ship the knife/sheath and how long will it take to reach my location.

Thanks for the pictures and the information

Hey Peter, Here ya go. That wavy stuff is a bear, but it sure gives a nifty look eh? :) I got todays note from you, but havent had the chance to break off from the shop. I'll send em via e-mail as well. Expect this one to go out first thing tomorrow. :D

I would like to thank you for the effort you put into this. From what I have seen, this is by far the best work leather work I have ever seen. I admit (untlil about 25 minutes ago when I recieved your email) I had never been a huge fan of leather sheaths in general, but your work has changed my mind. That is one of the best sheaths I have seen in a long time. Your responses to my numerous emails have been not only been extreamly promt but also informative. I would also like to thank Luopo for giving me the opportunity to acquire this great knife. However, he also introduced me to the fine work that leatherman (Dwayne) does and to this I am most thankful. I may look into you for more sheaths once my collection of Busse's grow. I cannot wait to get it! Any idea how long shipping will take?

As a side note, how much would this type of sheath be if I had not received it with the knife from Luopo? I really like your style and am considering this type of sheath for a few other knives.

Once again, Thank You
Peter

Yes, that is what I thought as well. I just enlarged with a photo editing software and came to the same conclusion.

Hey Steelswing, the X loop is something that developed out of the BADASS sheaths, its a multi use connector that allows one to use it to attach the leg strap or band to. It also allows for a lot of different rigging options when attatching the sheath to your pack, and inverted strapping is also possible with this thing. I have actually considered running two X loops on the bigger sheaths for horizontal carry.

Hi Peter, Thank you for the kind words :D much appreciated, I am happy to know that I have converted another to leather :D Makes all the blood sweat and tears that I shed to get to this point all worthwhile. And yes, its #4 and I am very jealous ;) :p

Dwayne, great looking stuff, If I ever get out of the restaurant business, I am going to give you a run for your money. :) I just got done checking out your web page, i am glad to see all the examples of your work. Great stuff man. Peter, you are going to love the knife and the sheath.
