Master Kami, Bura, came to visit me when I was at my father's home. Both
Bura and I were very happy to see my father.

I gave him and his wife gifts and the money for his medical needs and he
wanted me to thank all of you who sent help for his recovery. I added some
extra money from my pocket, too. Actually he was speechless by our
generosity.

He said, "Bahaini (sister), I wish I could get back to work, but my body and
mind are not up to normal working conditions yet. I am very thankful to all
HI customers who supported me during my illness and continue to support
my recovery. I hope for miracle so I can get back to work."

Bura has called me Bahaini for years. It means "small sister" in Nepali and
always makes me smile.

During our visit he made a stop at the shop and visited with the old and new
Kamis. He told them to keep up the good work and he might be back at the
shop soon to work with them again.

Bura and his wife said goodbye to the Kamis and sent warm regards to all HI
customers and went back to their home with happy smiles. I know we all are
hoping for his return to health and the shop.

I am honored and humbled to see one of the many men and women behind HI's wonderful products, and, more importantly, their legendary kindness, generosity, modesty, manners, and morality. Also, seeing the pictures and hearing the words, and sampling the emotion behind those words, I realize they are human beings with human problems, human solutions, human wisdom, and human feelings, and not the lesser gods I convinced myself into believing they were. Which, in my opinion, makes people like the Royal Kami himself far more wonderful and awe inspiring than any demi-god could be, to me at least. However, the Royal Kami is clearly human, and that would make it completely possible to befriend him and socialize with him, something that would be highly improbable to happen without the help of an omnipotent genie and a spare wish or two, seeing as I live thousands of miles, thousands of dollars, and thousands of levels of skill, away from meeting someone of such importance and skill...not to mention I would probably need to spend extra on a translator to talk to him, as I am judging English to be his second language, or not a language he speaks at all.... Oh well... anyway, thank you Auntie for sharing this awesome glimpse at a really cool dude. He looks so frail, but I can see an alien-ly strong determination in his eyes that makes me have faith that he will conquer his illness and return to what lights his life. I hope it turns out well for him, and everyone else and their individual difficulties as well. Peace everyone.

Really glad to see he's up and around, and getting better. I hope he'll be able to swing a hammer again soon, or at least start yelling at all the kamis.

More smoke up for Bura. He actually looks pretty good. Certainly alert.

wishing and praying a strong recovery for Bura -- at the very least; peace and health for he and his wife
