I just posted an update from Christine Simonich on Rob's website, http://www.simonichknives.com/ , and a small tribute to Rob on my website.

Christine is working on the paperwork needed to bury Rob on private property. She expects this will go through, and the burial plans will be as posted on the website.

In the unlikely event there's a paperwork problem I will update the website with new details.

You're welcome Keith and Morgan.

I just posted an update to Rob's website, a picture from Shelby Chan, and the picture that will be in his obituary in the Helene newspaper today.

Made the card for Rob's funeral. I believe each person will receive one.

I hadn't cried in at least a day about Rob's death. Then I read the poem that Christine wanted on the card.

Shelby Chan's 's awesome picture of Rob on the left side.
Had it fade to brown going to the right.
Made the shade of brown in the card background from a part of Rob's jeans in Shelby's picture. It reminds me of the way he did his cowboy suede tone on hideaways that seemed just soooo him.

Brown is supposedly one of the toughest colors for a printer. I sent them 2 different 5mb files with different shades of brown - One lighter, one darker.

Told the printer that if either shade came out pinkish or purplish to not use it because Rob would give me a ton of grief about that when I see him next.

One quote didn't fit right on the card. It was:

"Life is as the flash of the firefly in the night, the breath of the buffalo in winter time." Blackfoot proverb

Hi FS,

That quote -- GREAT.

Any chance of getting a card from you? Can't leave business to go to Montana. He was a friend.
