I got a phone call a little while ago from Kit. They had a really bad storm yesterday with 75 mph sustained winds. Everybody in his family is ok but they dont have any power and wont probably for a few days, so obviously no internet access.
The main thing is that they are all ok, and he'll be back when he can.
 
Good to know he's ok. Figured he was busy - had a few email replies I was waiting on.


Let him know we miss him.....:p
 
Tough stuff when mother nature flexes her muscles. Glad Kit and his family are all OK.

Man, when I saw the title to this thread the worse things imaginable came to mind.
Thank God it was just a storm and power outage!
Hope this doesn't give Kit problems getting ready for the Guild show.

I'm glad the folks are alright.
Did he mention any property damage? I know he just got a new vehicle.

Glad to hear no one was hurt in his family....Storms like that really show us how small we are........

I think that it is one of those new MPV's. A multi poop.., errr purpose vehicle. :D :p

What a storm. On Ft Knox, a few miles away, they clocked an 84 mph sustained wind.
Had 14 large trees knocked down and about 2 dozen topped. Halfway down the road a utility pole was sheared off at the ground and the power and phone lines were cut in half. Spent all day yesterday and most of today clearning trees. Anybody need firewood? :)
They just got power and phones back on line about an hour ago.
