How do I? Messages question

How does one read "sent" messages?
How does one delete messages?

For the life of me I cannot figure out messaging with this new software.

If you mean private messages, they are now called "conversations" - at the top right of every page you should see an envelope with however many unread conversations you have. Click that and everything will be visible.

You delete private messages by selecting one then choosing "Leave Conversation"

Thank you so much; on the one hand I feel stupid but OTOH, I feel vindicated.

I though "conversations" we're like a chat function or something.

The PMs are all conversations now. More chat like but not real time like a chat.

To delete them you need to "leave conversation". Click the check box to the left, in the drop down choose "leave conversation", this will "delete" it. You have to option to keep receiving messages from that person.
