How to send a person a message if they cant receive pm's due to being a registered user. Is there another way to get them a message?

Next option would be email. Then the last option would be a visitor message on their profile.

So on their profile I see something that says, visitor message for......If I click on that nothing happens except maybe I see their messages> So specifically how do I send a visitor message?

Click on their profile then off to the right near the top you'll see a bunch of tabs. Click the one that says visitor messages, then just type your message right into the box.

When you want to respond to a Visitor Message, click on View Conversation first, otherwise you will start a new conversation.

Thanks Esav B. Rycen, your idea doesn't work. It worked on your profile when I clicked on it but it doesn't have visitor messages on this guys profile. He is just a registered user, does that matter?

In Settings > General Settings, there are buttons for email, Private Messaging, and Visitor Messaging. Unfortunately, none of them are default, and many members don't realize they can activate them.

Registered users can't activate Private Messaging, but the others are potentially available. They just don't know how.
