I did a variation on the wishbone trap today and utilised the bait, an apple , to hold the trigger in place. Doing this would ensure the trap would spring if anything did take the bait !

And set up again in a different spot~

For a real simple trap just set up a snare on a log against a tree. Squirrels always take the easiest path so although simple to set up these snares can be effective.

Hey Pit,

As much as you are messing with traps, you should give some bank line a try.

It works well on a lot of traps with toggle triggers because of the smaller diameter, which also helps keep knot sizes smaller. It is still plenty strong, and has 3 strands that can be further separated in to thinner pieces. I still use paracord for a lot of stuff, but this is my favorite general purpose stuff.

Good stuff, btw

Funny ya mention that Brian, only said to the wife last week that I'd look for some ! Dave Canterbury uses it all the time.
