at one of my customers. Her last name was, get this, Thapa. How cool is that. She was as sweet and beautiful as Auntie Yangdu.
She seemed delighted that I collect Nepalese knives and am interested in Nepal. I think it reminded her of her far away homeland. She was interested in HI knives, too. Of course, I told her how nice mine are and how much I like using them.
Obviously, meeting someone from Nepal made me think about my HI knives. I started to miss them. I sure wish I could use my Bonecutter at work, but I'd get fired for carrying it on the job. My non-Nepalese customers just wouldn't understand.

It's got me thinking that I need to have HI make a fixed blade knife for me that has a square tipped blade about 3" long that I can use as a knife or a gasket scraper. Like a Razel, but Nepalese style.

But Auntie's a very sweet lady. I have to agree on that.

I didn't have a way to take pics of her, and didn't want to creep her out. Plus, my wife would probably get mad if I went around photographing other women.

If you Google "thapa" and click on Images, you get a bunch of photos ranging from the shortest man in the world (26 inches tall), to a Nepalese actress, to the shortest man in the world kissing the Nepalese actress, etc., etc.

I would suggest a k-bit shape but for the squared off tip or perhaps a sheepsfoot tip.
