I went to a famous knife shop in Tenessee and was looking at the condor line when i recognized a familiar face _JOEZILLA....It is always nice meeting other bladeforum members when you least expect it.. I really respected the fact that he let the knives sell themselves rather than be pushy like most reps do...i also liked the fact that he truly loved knives and not just his brand...we talked about different knives and not once did he make a sale on his brand.... I ended up buying the condor varan and a couple of mora knives ( you have to try the new one with the thicker blade )...The smokey mountains were not safe during my weekend stay.

I met him at the Blade Show. Even bought some Condor stuff. His influence has been good for Condor.

Smoky Mountain Knife Works is a must stop for knife people when in the neighborhood. You can spend hours there especially if they are real busy as they begin to be kind of short handed.

Joe is cool. He's a lot of fun to backpack with too. I always love to meet forumites.

One of the things I have found is nearly all of them are as nice or even nicer than online!

Sort of renews your faith in humanity.

Joe is a good guy, I've talked to him at Blade a few times. He usually has a lot going on so mainly I just like watching him bounce around like a ball in a pinball machine, but he's fun to hang out with after the show. Can't really speak for Joe, but I think most of us who design knives still like knives in general.
