Metal Gear Solid 2 knife identification

Can anyone tell me what knife the character Vamp uses in the game Metal Gear Solid 2? I'm not interested in any of the throwers on his belt, I'm trying to find out who his large combat knife is made by, if anyone at all.

I couldn't find a picture anywhere, but I have a good description on hand.

It looks similar to the Ontario Spec-Plus Marine Combat, except the handle on the grip isn't rounded as per the usual Ontario model, nor is does it have the Ka-Bar style ribbed handle. The only feature it shares handle-wise with Ontario's models is the hook at the end of the handle to prevent slipping.

The blade is extremely similar, save subtle differences: it seemed longer than the 7 inch blade of the Marine Combat, a serrated edge was on the spine not far from the hilt, and the blood groove wasn't just a superficial groove. The groove was a long, narrow slit that formed an opening in the blade.

If anyone can point this out, it'd be much appreciated.
 
I think its a mix of designs that the game designers thought would look good, it has a Strider handle thats all I saw.
 
The designers of MGS use actual models of all the weapons. I saw a picture long ago with all the Airsoft rifles they used in the making of the game. :)

I have no idea what the knife looks like as I haven't played the game in 4 years so I can't help you now. I'll have to dust out the game and get back with you in a few days.
 
It didn't quite look like a Strider knife, the one I was referring to. But I agree with the notion that it may have just been a creation solely for the game. I'd love it if it were an actual knife, though. Really caught my eye.

On a similar note to the Strider suggestion, in the soon-to-be-released installment of the series, one character uses a sword that looks as though it were designed by Strider Knives. (The handle seems to display all of the qualities of a cord-wrap Strider handle, but I'm not too sure about the blade.) Just thought it was interesting to point out. I've yet to identify Vamp's knife in THAT game, though. Didn't get a good luck at it in the trailer.
