I found this in one of my nick-nack boxes- a nice (pen?) knife given to me a quite a while ago. Made in Germany. You can see where the outer color has worn off parts, but it still is pretty nice. Any other all-metal slipjoints out there?

I see those quite often in antique stores. If I ever saw one like that, I would buy it, but usually they are just decorative or ornate, and do not strike my fancy. The bird dog one you have is pretty cool.

Here are a couple of metal-handled knives, all from Germany also.

The first is a Bruckmann. Very good quality gentleman's knife, more akin to jewelry than working tools.

These were made in Germany by Okapi, made for export to South Africa. Quality, quite frankly, is awful. The modern Okapi knives, actually made in South Africa now, are much better.

I'd trade a whole pile of these Okapi knives for a knife like your's with that nice dog picture. :)

Here’s my aluminum-handled Queen #45f “Big Chief” (D2 blade).
The top one is my first Queen-made Canoe -- D2 / faux-winterbottom (aka "Forest Edge").

Thanks, guys!

No Deal!:D

I almost forgot about these two! A silver fruit knife and a Camillus scout that was my grandfather's.

Yep -- I have a USMC Camillus like that as well. I don't think I've ever seen a spear blade with more belly than mine has. I'll have to snap a picture of it.

A couple of metals, and old Imperial and a Buck. I have a Vic Soldier biut no pics.

Being an avid upland bird hunter my entire life I Love It. Is it engraved both sides? Unlikely but I had to ask.

Yes, it has the same image on both sides.
