Metal Texturing and Finishes... Need some help
Ok one of these years I will get of my Duff and take a Jewelry making or Metal Crafts course at the local Comm College... Till then need your help.

Could use some direction for a good Arts Crafts site for techniques of Texturing Finishing metals...
There are many Artists here who make knives but also Knifemakers like me who struggle past the profile stage could use a little help

I havn't seen it, but I believe there is a rather good dvd by David Broadwell on texturing metals.

Don't know how much it will help, but its cheaper than a college course and is by a talented maker.

I cut my teeth on that book, and I'm on my 3rd or 4th copy. It's not as detailed as some reference texts, but it gives basic information about a very broad spectrum of metal-working processes.

Mr. McCreight has a gift for making concepts easy to understand.
