Metalllurgical consultant needed

Hello all,

I'm a newbie here, and wasn't sure where to post this request. To make a long story short, I'm the engineering manager at a pruning tool company, and we are looking to find a new steel that will make a better cutting blade than our current material, 1071 high carbon steel.

I'm looking for a consultant, whom we're willing to compensate for his time, to assist us in this research project. Any advice would be appreciated.
