The bog oak is cool I guess too, I’ll have to research that some as I have no idea.

I wonder how meteorite ore would do being made into steel, and then a knife blade itself?

Nope.....

It might be a good idea to do it. Objects from outer space are often radioactive.

A quick google search tells me I should be fine.

L LeclairKnives , since you used Titanium for the liners, what was the consideration?
Is the Meteorite very heavy and you used Titanium to lighten it up or is the Titanium in keeping with the light weight of the Meteorite, or something else?

I primarily use Ti for my liners because its lighter and stronger than steel.

While I've never heard of steel or brass liners failing, I think Titanium is an excellent choice for this stunning knife

I've seen forum knives price discussed here in the planning stage, as well as sold here (link to sale provided) once produced, but all other cases I've seen threads warned or killed by mods.
Also of note ... Ernie 1980 doesn't have a paid membership and therefore can't PM you.
He may be able to leave a message on your profile page ... dunno
