Anyone know where I can find M2.2 45 screws? Need a good 7mm length.
Goggle did not help me find them.
Thanks [D]22

Lowe's has a decent collection of metric; I bought some screws there last week. Or, call Grainger Industrial Supply near you, or can order on-line. They have pretty much everything.

Ive found knife screws for Emersons at hobby shops were the remote remote race cars and planes are

The 2.2-.45 is very close to the #2X56TPI US size. The nominal diameter of the #2 is .086”. The nominal diameter of the 2.2 is .087”. The pitch of the 2X56 is 56TPI. The pitch of the .45 is 56.44TPI. If your threaded hole is very deep, they will not interchange.

Do you mean 2.5x.45? I'm not aware of 2.2...May be wrong though

He may have meant 2.5, but 2.2 is also a metric standard size.
Oh I see that now! I have some 2.5 but not 2.2...worse case it can be drilled and tapped for something else...

In my line of work I am constantly using metric (not necessarily that small) and I need all kinds of oddball stuff and Tacoma Screw Products of Fastenal rarely disappoint.

Thanks to all for help. Yes it is an oddball 2.2 size. 2-56 was not hearing it. But I did rectify the problem!
