I just picked up the new Meyerco Kirby Lambert Shockwave Folder today from Blade HQ. This knife is one the best production folders I ever seen in this price range and beyond. It's like you are holding a custom Kirby Lambert in your hand. Fit and finish are top notch. Blade is 3.75" and .130" thick. Closed it is 4.875". Handle is .5" from outside edge of G10 to opposite outside edge. Weight is 6.4 oz. Blade Steel: 8Cr13MoV. Handle Material: Black Carbon Fiber / Black G-10. The knife opens and closes smooth as silk. Lockup and detent are excellent. If you are looking for a great EDC at an insane price ($48.95 !!!!!!!) I highly recommend you pick one up. Maybe even 2 ( a serrated and a plain) at this price!
 
Just ordered one of these myself today from the same place and am really looking forward to it! I figured for that price, it's worth a shot:D

That looks really nice.
I handled the Asian prototype at last year's SHOT show in Vegas. It was superb -- but at the time I was wondering if an actual production sample would be as good--especially in that price range.

Sounds good so far! If these production models are as good as that proto, it would be a crazy-outstanding deal!
 
Damn, not a bad looking production version of a great knife. I'm interested a little bit, although part of me says why spend fifty bucks on the Meyerco, when you could save that towards a full custom version. Nice looking blade just the same. Kirby's designs are always appealing:thumbup:
 
i received mine today. its excellent for the price. great fit and finish, large and hefty, superb lockup. the liner lock is well made and locks up great.
 
Ok, I had to bite too. This is the first blade steel less than 154CM for me in a VERY long time! :)

But all my research says this is a fine knife for the money. I hope I get a good one! We'll see.

BladeHQ service rocks and being in Utah their shipping to Reno is always FAST!

Looking forward to seeing what I just bought.

Wow this was a necro from 2010 lol.

Meyerco actually has a lot of great budget Production Knives at great prices.

I have the Lightfoot Catchdog, and while its a beefy folder, for the money($28) it really is pretty awesome.

The Shockwave has gotten a ton of great reviews over the years.
