Any experience or comments on Meyerco knives--especially the Blackie Collins Speedster? Prices seem pretty low, just curious how these knives compare with Benchmade, Cold Steel, spyderco, etc.
These are the forgotten children of the bunch. I would rank them near a Spyderco Delica or Endura but not the Benchmade Ascent. I do like the grip better than the Spyderco.

Yeah, I've handled one...nice little knife for the price, but I didn't buy it. Nearly lopped the tip of my finger off with it, I accept full blame for the accident, but just be careful the way that little sucker snaps shut! I sense improvements will be made on this one.
The knife you are refering to is either the Strut-N-Cut or the Rascal. Both have a cam mecnanism which assists in opening, and unfortunately closing. The main knife Guy is refering to is the Speedster which is similar to an Endura or Ascent. I agree with your observation on lopping the end of a finger off. It is a scarry experience and I will NEVER hand that knife to anyone without first showing them the possible problems.

Thanks for the correction Mike. I wasn't too sure, I guess that's why your the expert! I'll have to check out the knife Guy was actually referring to,...didn't mean to give a bad impression of the wrong knife. My Bad.
