Meyerco sharpener

I have a meyerco sharpen it,and I have trouble getting a shaving sharp edge on my knives. I must be doing something wrong with the sharpener. Does any one have any experience with the meyerco ?

Wrong section but don't worry it'll get fixed.

Its a low grade sharpener that's not going to give you very sharp edges and with enough use will almost destroy your blade. I would highly suggest getting something else.

Thanks for the info.According to everything I read,it was supposed to be one of the best. As I said,I haven't had much luck with it. :thumbdn::grumpy:

Dirty Bill, Steve Bottorff author of Sharpening Made Easy insists that the only good slot sharpener is the Meyerco. I carry one for touchups & have been very satisfied. I know Steve has a website & also teaches sharpening.
