I just bought a Meyerco Stingray after reading a review of it in the latest TK issue and deciding to give it a try. The knife is extremely lightweight and the "assisted opening feature" is very fast. The knife came shaving sharp from the box with no side to side play, however, there was a bit of up/down play, but you can adjust the blade stop to get rid of any play, like on the Benchmark Sidewinder. Luckily, I had recently bought a .050 and 1/16 inch ball end hex key set, otherwise, I would have been frustrated with the blade play. Anyhow, it's very addictive, just like the Kershaw Onions and the Timberline Discovery. The only thing I don't like about the knife is that it does not have a lanyard hole and the stainless steel pocket clip is too thin. I fear that the clip will easily bend out of shape or break if the clip snags on something. Otherwise, it is an improvement over the Rascal and Strut & Cut models and an interesting knife to own and a must for the Blackie Collins fans.
