meyerco wharning mod help

Hi I recently got myself a wharning and I like it cool little blade, but it need some help. it comes with a clip on the sheath to clip it to your pants or gear but when I go to pull the knife out the whole sheath come with it. Does anyone have an inexpensive way to fix this problem? Thanks in advance.
